Safety Protocols

We leave nothing to chance—here is how we protect you on every Wasatch Range outing.

Safety is Our Creed

Our Wilderness Safety Protocols

We maintain an impeccable 100% safety record because we leave absolutely nothing to chance. Here is how we protect you on every excursion across the Wasatch Range.

Satellite Communication

Even in deep mountain canyons with zero cell service, our guides carry Garmin inReach satellite communicators. We stay connected to emergency dispatch, weather services, and our Park City base office throughout the day.

Wilderness First Responders

Every guide is Wilderness First Responder (WFR) or EMT-Basic certified. They carry comprehensive, professional-grade trauma and medical kits on every hike, snowshoe trek, or ski safari—no exceptions.

Real-time Weather & Trail Monitoring

Mountain weather can change in minutes. We monitor satellite radar and avalanche reports continuously. Guides are trained to adjust routes or safely terminate excursions if conditions deteriorate.
