Born from a Passion for
Utah's Untamed Wilderness
Trailblazer Tours LLC was founded in Park City, Utah, with a simple but powerful vision: to bridge the gap between people and the awe-inspiring beauty of the Rocky Mountains. What started as a small group of local mountaineers guiding friends has blossomed into a premier, fully licensed outdoor excursion agency.
Our founders believed that nature has the power to restore, challenge, and inspire. However, navigating the high-altitude trails, changing mountain weather, and backcountry routes requires deep expertise. That is why we built a team of highly trained, certified professionals who live and breathe these mountains.
Today, we are proud to offer premium, eco-conscious tours year-round, ensuring that every guest—whether a first-time hiker or an experienced skier—enjoys a safe, educational, and deeply moving mountain adventure.
Our Mission
To deliver safe, highly personalized, and transformative outdoor experiences that foster a deep connection with nature, while strictly preserving our pristine wilderness for future generations.
Our Vision
To be recognized as the gold standard of guided outdoor excursions in Utah, celebrated for our uncompromising safety standards, environmental stewardship, and exceptional guest satisfaction.
Eco-Stewardship
We are proud partners in conservation. We strictly adhere to Leave No Trace (LNT) principles, educate our guests on local ecology, and donate a portion of our proceeds to trail preservation.
Our Guiding Excellence & Certifications
We maintain the highest standards of safety, environmental stewardship, and customer care in the outdoor industry.
Certified Wilderness Guides
Every single one of our active guides is certified as a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) or holds higher medical credentials. They undergo rigorous local route training and are fully equipped with advanced navigation and emergency communication systems.
Winter & Avalanche Safety
All winter sports guides hold professional avalanche safety certifications (AIARE Level 2 or equivalent). They carry avalanche beacons, probes, and shovels, and perform daily snowpack analysis to guarantee safe winter snowshoeing and ski guiding.
Leave No Trace Educators
As proud stewards of the Utah wilderness, our team strictly enforces Leave No Trace (LNT) principles. Our guides are certified LNT educators who teach guests how to enjoy the outdoors responsibly while preserving local ecosystems.
Our Wilderness Safety Protocols
We maintain an impeccable 100% safety record because we leave absolutely nothing to chance. Here is how we protect you on every excursion.
Satellite Communication
Even in deep mountain canyons with zero cell service, our guides carry Garmin inReach satellite communicators. We are always connected to emergency dispatch, weather services, and our base office.
Wilderness First Responders
Every single guide is Wilderness First Responder (WFR) or EMT-Basic certified. They carry comprehensive, professional-grade trauma and medical kits on every single hike or ski safari.
Real-time Weather & Trail Monitoring
Mountain weather can change in minutes. We monitor satellite radar and avalanche reports continuously. Guides are trained to dynamically adjust routes or safely terminate excursions if conditions deteriorate.
