Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the scheduled tour start time will receive a full 100% refund. Cancellations made between 2 and 7 days prior will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior, or "no-shows," are non-refundable. If we must cancel a tour due to extreme weather or safety concerns, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
Absolutely! We love guiding families. We design special family-friendly nature walks and snowshoe treks that are slower-paced and focus on fun, educational wilderness activities for children. Let us know the ages of your children, and we will plan the perfect day.
Your safety is our absolute priority. Light rain or snow usually won't cancel a tour (and can make it quite an adventure!), but severe weather, high winds, lightning, or extreme avalanche risks will. If we must cancel due to weather, we will notify you as early as possible to reschedule or issue a full refund.
We provide premium trekking poles, daypacks, and organic trail snacks for our hiking tours, and premium snowshoes and poles for our winter snowshoe tours. You will need to bring your own personal apparel (hiking boots, waterproof winter clothing, gloves) and ski gear/lift passes if you book resort ski guiding. Detailed packing lists are provided upon booking confirmation.
Meeting locations depend on the route and season. Most hikers and snowshoers meet at a designated Park City trailhead; private and bespoke bookings may include hotel or lodging pickup. Exact pin, arrival time, and parking notes are sent with your confirmation email.
We recommend booking at least one to two weeks ahead for standard tours, and earlier for summer weekends, autumn foliage, holiday weeks, and large private or corporate groups. Last-minute requests are welcome when guides and conditions allow—email us and we’ll check availability promptly.
Yes. Door-to-door hotel transport is included with many bespoke private adventures and can be arranged as an add-on for other tours when vehicles and schedules permit. Mention your lodging when you inquire so we can build pickup into your quote.
